Sore throat


Sore throat is referred as the irritation and the pain of the throat mainly caused by infections that lead to swelling and inflammation of the throat. It is very uncomfortable and causes difficulties in swallowing

This article will discuss about 23 basic home remedies, which help an individual to get rid of their sore throat completely –

Gargling with salt water

  • Gargling with warm salt water plays significant role in preventing throat swelling and also helps in cleaning the throat, which ultimately helps to improve the symptoms of sore throat
  • It is associated with killing bacteria within throat that helps to reduce the complication and also helps to soothe sore throat

Gargling with baking soda

  • Gargling with baking soda is also considered as an effective remedial action for sore throat
  • It helps to destroy microbes thus reduces the prevalence of infections, which ultimately lowers the susceptibility of developing sore throat

Try honey

Using of humidifier is also very useful for improving the symptom of sore throat because it helps to bring moisture back to the air and helps in relieving discomfort as dry air can severely irritate a sore throat
