Community Experience Standards
Best Remedies publishes carefully moderated, first-hand experiences to help readers ask better questions—not to replace medical care or establish that a remedy works.
What we welcome
- Your own experience, written in your own words.
- Specific amounts, frequency, duration, outcome and side effects.
- Positive, negative and no-effect results.
- Useful warnings and relevant context, without identifying another person.
What we do not publish
- Copied articles or experiences, invented stories, advertisements, affiliate links or promotional contact details.
- Claims that a remedy is guaranteed to cure, prevent or diagnose a disease.
- Instructions likely to cause serious harm, or advice to ignore professional or emergency care.
- Names, addresses, phone numbers, medical-record details or other unnecessary personal information.
- Harassment, discrimination, irrelevant material, spam or repeated submissions.
How moderation works
Every submission is private by default. Automated checks may flag spam, duplication, identifying information and potentially dangerous claims. A human moderator makes the publication decision. Moderators may correct spelling, remove identifying details, request clarification, reject a submission or remove an approved experience after a reader report.
Publication and corrections
Only the chosen screen name and approved experience fields are shown publicly. Approval is not a medical endorsement. Readers can report an experience, and three independent reports automatically return it to the private review queue. Submitters can ask us to correct or remove their material through the contact page.
